Sprains are commonly mislabeled- there are actually two kinds of injuries that can happen when you have symptoms we call a sprain: sprains and strains.
A sprain is a stretched or torn ligament, while a strain is a stretched or torn muscle or tendon. Both cause pain, swelling and trouble moving the affected joint.
Often doctors will just say that a sprain “needs time to heal” and won’t recommend much more than simple rest or icing. Chiropractic care is far more focused and works on a different level with your body.
Dr. Ash uses X-rays, technology and chiropractic care techniques to evaluate your joint alignment.
